The Animation Academy is a pre-college summer program that has been designed for students who want to explore their creative potential while working with industry-standard animation software.

Through our rigorous project-based curriculum, students will be introduced to the fundamental principles of animation and learn about the artistic and technical skills needed to create high-quality animation for film, games, and visual effects.

This program is designed for:

  • Students entering grades 10–12 and recent high school graduates
  • Students who are considering studying animation in college and would like hands-on experience with industry-standard animation software
  • Students who want to explore career pathways in this evolving field

Get a Jump Start on College Education

In the Animation Academy pre-college summer program, students will:

  • Learn about the principles of animation through a rigorous curriculum
  • Engage in hands-on, project-based learning
  • Work with professional-grade equipment and software
  • Experience what it is like to study animation in college

  • Build confidence and gain real-world experience

Sample Daily Schedule

The daily program will include morning and afternoon instruction, and a combination of instruction and recreational activities in the evenings. We’ll work right through the weekend to take full advantage of the time we have together!
